Some sort of minimalist logo; people still like minimalism, surely? A little pop-art, a little clip-art, a little retro - call it what you want. I'm still steadying my hand to try and make some logos, and practice makes perfect. This ain't perfect, but I like it.
I had a good friend of mine suggest to me an idea in collaboration with his new 3-D printing home business: layered wall plaques! Some cool plastic art with a bit of dimension, an original design I'd make that would be sold online. I figured I'd give it a shot. Something not too challenging or "out there" like some of my designs might be - it needed to be a slowball. CDs had seemed to be making a comeback earlier in the year, and vaporwave was still somewhat popular, though moving on from Windows '99 to Windows XP. I'd watched a video on blank VHS tape covers and got to work on this and Dreams of Home 2 in the same week.
Unfortunately, due to bad timing between my big move and his work schedule, I never worked out a complete contract for the design, nor did these make it beyond a test print. Oh well. Maybe I'll message him about it sometime.
