An album cover of sorts... very early into my tinkering and tooling with programs in the first year of my college degree. Blurry fog and lack of skill together make something inconsistent and woozy. Not for the record shelf, but I like to imagine that it's some of the best shoegaze from the past decade.
Can't say I remember the exact context for this one very well. It was a bitter Idaho winter, seemingly unceasing. My ex and I were taking care of a few dogs during those dreary winter months for some extra cash, and they actually let us stay overnight at their place since the dogs needed to go outside in the mornings. This was a boon to us then since our place was practically insulated with cardboard.
That dog-sitting mini-arc of my life was a mess. The woeful emotions compounded with the grueling winter, standing outside in the snowstorm on early mornings with a pounding headache and frozen toes attempting to start the car over and over to get to work another town over. I must've come close to just laying on that suburban road and letting the snow cover me, but made this cover instead. The name and cover itself try to convey that feeling of aching and frozen tendons.
